Ready IRL commits to the following:

• We will not sell or share your personal information with third parties without your explicit permission.

• We will protect and secure your personal information to the best of our ability.

• We will only send you emails about your account and as part of our providing our service. You will never be signed up to receive newsletters and other content without your explicit permission.

• We will keep third-party advertising to a minimum and only in public areas of our website. We personally find websites that have more ads than content, or sites with ads that regularly interrupt content, to be intrusive and annoying. We protect your personal information from these third-parties by excluding them completely from secure areas like your readiness dashboard. 

• We will use third-party analytics tracking only in public areas of our websites for the express purpose of improving our service.

• We will only embed third-party social media scripts in designated areas of our site specifically designed for you to connect with others in the readiness community. We find social media services like to slurp up data and then bombard you with targeted advertising.

• When  third-party integrations or services are necessary (such as help desk and chat services), we will limit their use to designated areas of the site. We will vet these services and their policies to ensure that they will respect your privacy as much as we do.

Terms of Use

By using our website and tools you agree to the following:

• You understand that we are offering our website and services in good faith.

• You will use our website and services for their intended purpose, which is to help you improve your emergency preparedness. We offer no guarantee that using our services will protect you from, or prevent, any incidents, emergencies, or disasters, in your life. We only seek to help you prepare for those events.

• You accept all liability and risk for using our website and services to the extent allowed by law. While we will use strong security and industry best practices, we cannot guarantee protection against all nefarious activity.

• You will not use or exploit our website and services for your own gain. We work hard to provide these tools and we welcome linking to our website and sharing those templates we make publicly available, but you will use not use our content for profit without written permission.

• You will not use our website or services for illegal activity of any kind.
